There is NO other rescue, UK wide, offering the spectrum of services we give, especially in terms of funding aid to other organisations and low-income individuals.

We have actually set up a few links which enable you to either make a one off gift or, make a monthly donation.

Please do not think that the sum you can afford to donate is 'too small' or insignificant. Our lowest donation is £3 a month, and the highest £100 a month. Every sum, no matter how small, is HUGELY important to me in the furtherance of my work. The small sums like £5, now amount to over £300 each month.
New Donations
The Figures and Facts
- Tragically, we have to REJECT some £3500 worth of requests for veterinary funding, from vet practices UK-wide (see centre column) every 3 months approximately.
- We haven't received much in sponsorship aside from the small sums coming from our loyal standing order donors!
- It is our desire to provide funding help for Persians whose owners cannot afford vet bills, and for abandoned Persians who end up at vets. We are the ONLY UK RESCUE that is offering such services. We can offer these much needed services only through donations.
- The only sponsorship funding we receive at present, amounts to a tiny amount by regular standing order or counter credit, from fewer than 20 sponsors - but to their absolute credit (and I'm SO grateful) this same handful of people have supported the Rescue for several years now.
If you want us to survive (and God knows, Persian owners and would-be owners all over Europe are always asking for help - I still get over 400 requests a week for advice!!) - then please GIVE so that we get something back.
Those people who actually use our cat health and behavioural advice services, are, ashamedly, all people who have never given a penny. Isn't that shocking.
If I ever ask for a donation for my help, their 'urgent request', which I will have been asked to answer fully and immediately, suddenly goes away and they disappear!

You will all see, if you are used to reading this page, how very frustrating and worrying is the constant battle for funds. It gets very wearing.
How Funds Are Used
Some of the ways in which your funds are used:
- Veterinary bills can be paid in full, or part-funded by CPR, on behalf of the elderly, disabled and those who on low incomes.
- Both vets and individual members of the public, contact us for advice and help, and often they need financial assistance for a cat's care.
- Payment requirements for ongoing veterinary care, can be steep.
- Vet bills for cats who have been abandoned or who are lost, and then taken to a veterinary practice for treatment, still need to be met by someone. No, vets do not fund this out of the goodness of their hearts....!
- Organisations like RSPCA while themselves performing an outstanding service, also usually cannot step in and help fund the care of most of these animals, especially in the case of pedigree cats whose needs are often more expensive and specialised.
- It is a fallacy that RSPCA has the funds to pay for the treatments of any 'found' injured animals - they also have to evaluate affordability, and often apply a capped limit to what they can pay per animal. many 'found' or desperately sick animals are euthanased because RSPCA either cannot house the animals or fund their care. The funding situation UK wide, is desperate.
- Chapelhouse Persian rescue, conversely, has the freedom to use any amount of its gifted funds, to support a single animal, if the case warrants. We are often the first 'port of call' for a desperate vet needing finances for a pedigree cat's care.
- Our rescue is the only one UK wide who will pick up veterinary bills for the treatment of Persian and pedigree cats, by vets who make a request for funding.
