If you would like to help us with a donation, here are the facts:

It costs around £40,000 a year to keep the rescue open and to maintain high standards. That's without undertaking any of the changes we would like to make, to improve our services.

In the first few years of the rescue, most of the came from the privately earned income of our Owner/Manager, Cheryl-Anne. However, she has now stopped external work in order to concentrate on the rescue.

The second thing we are in urgent need of is hands-on help. The cleaning out of
the cats takes 6 hours per day and is done twice a day. This is undertaken by
one person and it is too much - and takes away time that could be spent on other
items such as cat care! If you are willing to clean on a regular (at least
2-weekly) basis, please e-mail mail@chapelhouse-persians.co.uk
and let me know what days you can offer. Please be aware that this is not easy
work and we need people who know they can stand the strain!
