Plaque Removing Granules
A fabulous innovation and a must for Persian teeth, especially if they don't receive at least an annual veterinary dental - many Persian owners will confirm how much they've had to spend on dental care! Cats on wet or partially wet diets also tend to have plaque build ups on their teeth.
This product is entirely natural and is formulated of seaweed of the Ascophyllum Nodosum family, naturally harvested from the seas off Norway and Iceland. There is a patent pending for the seaweed's remarkable properties in the removal of plaque and hard calculus from teeth. The product is safe and can be added to any pet food. The product also improves pet bad breath!

Eye Cleaning Pads
I really do like these eye cleaning pads and recommend that cat owners buy one of each to keep in the cupboard. Persian eyes are especially sensitive, but I find these pads well tolerated by the most sensitive eyes, and well tolerated by cats themselves. This product is also perfect for dogs.

I remember my mum using 'Dry Shampoo' when I was a child, and this product, although for cats rather than humans, certainly brought back some memories! I have tried this product and it is excellent, highly recommended for Persians who really shouldn't be bathed unless very water tolerant (and also, wet shampoos tend to harm the coat and potentially also the skin). The results obtained from the dry shampoo are superb, and it is very well tolerated by the cat.
This is one of those products you absolutely must have in the cat cupboard!! You just dust the coat lightly, comb or brush the cat and hey presto - nice clean cat! Unlike the dreaded talcum powder, which is harmful to cats and in any case just gives the impression of whitening, this is specially formulated to be tolerated and to remove particles of dandruff, oil and debris.

Flea Powder
As anyone who has adopted from the Rescue knows, I am not a fan of cat flea powders. Owners can be at risk of overdosing their pets if not used carefully. In addition, these days there are so many effective 'back of the neck' treatments available from the vet.
However, a vet recommended this particular powder to me. It is a very pleasant smelling powder and a light dusting seems very well tolerated.
It is important that you never use a flea powder at the same time as either a flea collar or a back of the neck application, since this is when overdosing tends to occur.
